Locations

Overview

Locations is one of basic Locify services. It allows you to store and browse waypoints.

This service requires login to Locify.

Saving waypoints

You can save a waypoint on Locify client using Save locally option from service menu. This will save waypoint with set coordinates to your mobile phone.

Another option is saving waypoints on web. You can simply create waypoint file by selecting some point on map.

Browsing

You can browse files saved on your phone Browse saved locally or saved on Locify server Browse saved on server. If you select one of saved items, additional info will be displayed and you can work with this waypoint further.

Synchronization

Locify's synchronization allows you to exchange saved waypoints between Locify server and your mobile phone. Simply select Synchronize. (Note: Other features like installed services will be synchronized, too).

Another option how to add new waypoints to your mobile phone is to copy them directly to Locify's installation directory in your phone's memory (memory card by default). Locify supports standard KML files.
